Royal's NEW Alpha1000ML is the first Royal cash register with the ability to connect to a credit card reader (sold separately.) Features a 5-LINE Backlit Display, heavy-duty thermal printer, serial connection, SD card slot, accounting software and more. - 16 Departments/200 with Shift: For sales analysis by category of merchandise. Program each department with a 12 character name or description; set for taxable or non-taxable items. Preset department pricing for quick, one-key sales entry
- 5000 Price-Look-Ups (PLU): For quick, accurate entry of frequently sold items. Each PLU can be assigned a 12 character name. PLU reports print sales activity of each PLU
- SD Card Reader and Writer Slot.: For easy transfer of sales, programming and backup data. Syncs directly to Registerlink. Useful for multiple locations to implement changes or record sales data (SD Card not included).
- Heavy-Duty Thermal Printer: Allows both alpha and numeric characters to be programmed to print on customer receipts or journal tapes. Thermal printer is fast and quiet. Uses 2 1/4" (57mm) thermal paper.
- Serial connection: Connects the register to your PC or bar code scanner. Software includes a filter that downloads your end of day report totals directly to your QuickBooks PRO accounting program.
- Scrolling Messages: For as many as 5 different text messages up to 42 characters each to scroll across the customer display at various times.
