FireKing DP2150-M Mixed Media Safe with Fire and Impact Rating. The FireKing Mixed Media Safe offers versatile protection for paper documents and files, as well sensitive magnetic and digital storage media.



These safes are built by incorporating layers of heat-absorbing material, fireproof insulating foam and fireproofing with a tough steel casing.



The top section is a UL Class 350 1-Hour Impact Rated safe with 6.1 cubic feet of storage for your important paper records and files. The interior of the top section will not exceed 350 degrees F for at least 1 hour when the exterior temperature reaches 1,700 degrees F.



The 4.4-cubic-foot bottom section is a UL Class 125 3-Hour Impact Rated data media compartment to hold your CDs, tapes, discs, and other media. The interior of the bottom section will not exceed 125 degrees F for at least 3 hours when the exterior temperature reaches 1,700 degrees F.



The Underwriters Laboratories impact testing process calls for the safe to be heated to more than 1,625 degrees F for 45 minutes, then dropped 30 feet onto rubble. After that the safe is turned upside down and heated again to more than 1625 degrees F for 45 minutes.
