The security thread in US bills is sometimes difficult to detect, especially on older bills. A directional UV light shows the security thread easily, and makes it easier to verify currency under typical workplace lighting conditions.



ID and Credit Card Verification. The high-intensity UV lamp of the M18 counterfeit detector brightly illuminates UV-reflective security marks on driver’s licenses, credit cards, checks, passports, and other forms of identification.
