The HSM Securio P40c 3/16" x 1-1/8" Cross Cut Paper Shredder is a large volume high performance and energy saving shredder. Its designed to decrease energy consumption of up to 90% with the Energy Management and Control System. Whisper quiet operation is included with the shredder design. The HSM Securio P40c (3/16" x 1-1/8") Cross Cut Paper Shredder can destroy paper, credit cards, staples, paper clips, and CDs/DVDs. This shredder can shred up to 35 to 37 sheets into 3/16" x 1-1/8" pieces with a level 3 medium-security rating. The sheet bin capacity is 40 gallons and can pull out for easy trash disposal. The HSM Securio P40c changes to energy saving mode after 2 minutes of usage, and the shredder turns off entirely after 4 hours of non-use. A temporary mode sets in for small shred jobs and permanent for large shredding jobs. This P40c design has a unique JamStop Anti-Jam Technology which automatically reverses paper when overloaded. An optional separate CD waste container gathers shredded material providing organization.
